Fantasy Sci-fi Fusion Contest. Being a Group that Focuses on both the Fantasy and Sci-fi genres, we thought what better way to celebrate this than to combine the two in one contest theme. With both Fantasy and Sci-fi being such imaginative genres of their own which have inspired so many people through the years, the combination of the two is the best of both worlds.
Your challenge is to show us your interpretation of a Fantasy and Science Fiction Combined into one piece. Incorporate both Fantasy and Sci-fi aspects into your entry however you see fit. The possibilities are endless, you can let your imagination run wild! Show us your vision, and you could win some amazing prizes!

Highest possible score is a 150
Each of the 25 Semi-Finalists were judged on three categories:
Use of Theme, Originality and Technical Skill.
They will each be on a scale of 1 to 10, with 1 being the lowest and 10 being the highest.
So each piece will get 3 scores. So the highest score one can get from one Judge is three 10's, which equal 30. With five Judges scoring each of the three categories, the highest score a piece can get is 150.
The votes were all tallied, and triple checked.
Please remember to be respectful to the Winners, the Judges and the Group.

I must admit we all were very proud of the level of participation in this event. From the entries, to promotion, to donations we have been amazed at how this event unfolded. As you all have heard before I'm sure, it was extremely difficult to pick just 3 winners. We had to make many tough choices, and in the end it was our votes combined that decided the winners. There were no runaway victories, as the entire 25 Semi-Finalists were all very close in scores. But from all of us here, thank you so very much for making this a fun event. We will be having countless blogs to feature many of the people involved, so stay tuned as this is just the beginning...

Prizes will be Grouped into five separate Categories:
Grand Prize Pool ... Art Prize Pool ... Stock Prize Pool...Points...Features.
Each winner will be able to pick one prize from the Grand Prize Pool and Art Prize Pool categories. Winners will pick in order of their placement in the contest: 1st place picks one from each category first, then Second place picks, and so on. Any prizes not picked will be up for grabs for the Honorable Mention Winner. Each winner will be able to pick one exclusive stock pack from each of the Stock donators. Winners will also receive a set amount of points for each placement. All winners will receive features from Feature donators as well as from the Group.
