Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

Bronies go nuts, and Nintendo Sucks?Equestria Girls
The trailer to "Equestria Girls" (the humanized MLP spinoff film) finally was released today. Aaaannnd everyone's freaking out. Again.
You know, it actually looks pretty decent. Bronies... please understand: I know you're a major unexpected demographic for the show. I know you enjoy seeing shout-out's become canon within the show, and appreciate how the creators do little things here and there for you. But... the show isn't made for you. This is not Cartoon Network and the target demographic isn't 25 year olds in college. You're a nice addition to the target demographic of little girls, but you are not the driving force behind MLP.
I don't want this to sound mean, but it needs to be said. This is where it becomes very important to understand the fine line between being a fan of the show and thinking that because you've invested so much energy into the show that you're entitled to things.
I'm sure the movie won't be as bad as everyone makes it out to be. It honest

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Have you seen some amazing work that you would like to share with the Community? Do you know of some underrated work that could really use some exposure? Would you like to promote other artists and their work? Would you like to put a smile on someone's face and make someones day?

If so, then suggest a piece for a Daily Deviation! For those of you that so not know, The Daily Deviation is a daily staff feature chosen from the galleries here on deviantART.

The selecting administrator may be a Volunteer Gallery Moderator or other staff/volunteer member who has been granted the necessary access to the special selection tools.

A small assortment of submissions are chosen each day by this select group of staff/volunteer members who wish to showcase an image which they found impressive or otherwise interesting enough to deserve being brought to the attention of the community-at-large. It is important to note that selections need not be of professional quality in order to be featured for the day.

How To Suggest a Daily Deviation:

-Copy the link of the deviation on deviantART that you would like to see featured.

-Take notice of the deviations category. Example: Traditional, Digital etc

-Send a Note to the appropriate deviantART Gallery Moderator that Moderates the category that the deviation is in. The links provided at the top of this Blog show every Moderator and their Respective Sections.

-Title the note to the Gallery Moderator "Daily Deviation Suggestion"

-Make sure you paste the link and/or thumbnail of the deviation you are suggesting in the note (preferably a thumbnail)

-Leave a short description of why you think the piece should become a DD if you wish.

-Please take note that each individual Gallery moderator may have specific criteria regarding suggesting a Daily Deviation.
So look for any additional information regarding regarding DD's on that specific Moderators page you are suggesting to if available.

Anyone can suggest a daily deviation. Suggesting someones work for a DD could give someone the opportunity to reach a much larger audience and gain more exposure. It only takes a few minutes, and it will really make someones day. Try to suggest as often as possible, try suggesting one a day if you can!

Just remember that as a general rule recipients must wait at least 3 months from receiving their last DD before they are eligible for a new one. So if a person has received a DD in the last 3 months, wait a while before suggesting another of their works.

Also keep in mind that Moderators receive a lot of suggestions, so not every piece that you suggest may become a DD. So be remain both persistent and patient, and your diligence will pay off! I promise you

Still haven't seen one of my suggestions get through, so maybe I'm just cursed.

Also, DA's recent taking away the right to write descriptions for said DDs is a little soulless, imho. More static. It takes away some of the meaning behind people suggesting them in the first place, although I suppose in a humourous way it could open the door to people caring less about DDs and just hitting a couple of buttons to get something through.

On the other hand, said people who truly do want to make things meaningful can look at other ways into getting their message across, but the DD description was the most direct way of going about it.

If you suggest a piece the mods like, then they'll usually feature it within a week.

I've suggest 100+ deviations, and only 4 have been taken.
I'm promised there will be a 5th soon though!
You could always try again, and of course make sure to make a good case for it, use the thumb etc.
