Are you interested in becoming a Group Moderator?

Our Group is expanding in size and scope, so our Admin team needs to expand with it. So we are now looking for active, motivated individuals with interest in joining our Group Staff.
We are also striving to develop different sections here such as Literature and Resources, as we want to be much more than simply an Art Gallery Group. So we are looking for some highly motivated, social and creative individuals willing join our team as Moderators in these fields. Duties will include helping process Gallery Submissions and developing their sections. This is very important to us that we further develop these areas. Regardless of whether you join as a general moderator or a specialty one, all Moderators first priority is processing Members submissions.

Basic Criteria:

- We do ask that you have been a Member of deviantART for at least one year. This is to make sure that people are properly familiar with the site and all of it's features.

- We ask that you have some Fantasy or Sci-fi art or literature present in your gallery. Since this is a group focused on the Fantasy and Sci-fi genres, that is a prerequisite.

- You do not need to have any prior experience in the Group systems. We will will be more than happy to show you all you need to know.

- and most importantly: You must be very active


Gallery Moderators

All Moderators in the Group first and foremost process submissions, preferably daily. Regardless if a Mod is a specialty Mod or not, all mods must first process all submissions. There is a lot of artwork submitted to the group, and a large active workforce is needed to compensate. Moderators all need to get familiar with the guidelines and criteria, and take care to process each piece properly.
We are looking for extremely active individuals with a passion for art and the community. Part timers need not apply. This is a large, fast and active group and as such we need moderators able to match that energy.

Public Relation Moderators

As we get a lot of correspondences, messages and notes we need to keep up with this. So at this point we are looking for individuals who will act as Public Relations, who can process all these aspects and respond to all messages quickly. This also includes processing Affiliate Correspondences as well.

Literature Moderators

Literature plays such an important role in the Fantasy and Science Fiction genres. It is the inspiration for almost every related genre material out there in any media. Yet is is such an underexposed Medium here on deviantART. We are looking for people willing to help develop and promote the Literature Section here. Dedicated writers and readers with a passion for the Fantasy and Science Fiction genres, willing to read, process and suggest related work to the group. Also to come up with innovative ideas to breath new life into this medium here in our Group; and help promote Lit based events, blogs and activities.

Resource Moderators

Resources are a very important part of our Group. We want to provide people with tools to learn and create. As such Tutorials and Resources are a key component in this endeavor. From application Resources such as filters and brushes, to Photography Stock and Clip Art, to Tutorials and How To's so that fellow Members may learn. We are looking for dedicated people to further develop our Resource Section, to seek out useful Stock and Tutorials, and to help promote related events.  


Creative Team Activity Moderators

We are looking for very active imaginative individuals willing and able to develop, promote and run fun events. From Fun interactive blogs and polls, to Fantasy and Sci-fi related new blogs regarding all media, to developing and promoting contests. This is very important that we are an interactive Group with tons of things to do in our little community.  

Chat Moderators

We have a chat room, why not use it. We are looking for very chat savvy individuals willing to host and run fun events and activities in our Chat Room. Games, interviews, art jams, sit downs, you name it. Let's all get connected and meet with one another. We want people to come for the art, and stay for the community.

Networking Moderators

#Realm-of-Fantasy has Twitter and Facebook accounts. We are looking to branch out across the internet, and we understand that social networking sites are one way to do so. We are looking for people with experience in these sites to help us run and promote our group across the web. Fun events and activities, promotion, you name it.

Traditional Moderators

Our Traditional Moderators will focus on all Traditional art that is not Artisan Crafts, as we already have a separate section for that. So our focus here will be on drawing, water colors, painting etc. As you all know, Digital Art consists of the majority of work submitted here. While we love all mediums here, we don't want to see one medium get less exposure than another. So we must change that. We need active highly motivated individuals to help develop and promote Traditional Art here. While we don"t have a section for Traditional on it's own, we do have many things we can do to help promote it here.


Artisan Crafts Moderators

Artisan Crafts is an amazing medium made by hand from talented individuals.
Yet is is such an underexposed medium here on deviantART and in our Group. We are looking for people willing to help develop and promote the Artisan Crafts Section here. Dedicated Moderators with a passion for Crafts in the Fantasy and Science Fiction genres, willing to find and suggest related work to the group. Also to come up with innovative ideas to breath new life into this medium here in our Group; and help promote Artisan Craft based events, blogs and activities.


In Closing...

Moderators are encouraged to develop and run new Group functions and Sections, activities and more. These people must have initiative and imagination, and be able to present ideas to the Admins as well as execute and run the sections and activities. We need people willing to promote the activities and the Group, as well as scout for prospective Members and Artwork. We are looking for extremely dedicated individuals with a passion for Fantasy and Sci-fi willing to donate time to help this Group develop, and to help and promote our fellow Artists and Members.
