If you do not like this project and related blogs and polls please feel free to turn off the group notifications to your message center.
So providing a venue for artists to suggest a feature is definitely helpful.
And providing a feature in return to those who do so is a good added insensitive.
Asking people to fav the news article if they wish helps spread the word so that others may discover new artists and artwork.
There is no right or wrong way to use them.
Sometimes we use them as polls with multiple options, other times we use them as another tool to help inform our Members of group activities.
If people do not wish to vote nor participate, that is their prerogative and they are welcome to do so.
But since this is about people artwork and helping to exposure artists, we are trying to eliminate all possible negative avenues. Adding a poll option such as "I didn't care much for this round" may not make some of the people who are in the feature feel as good about it. So rather than give a negative option, we allow one positive one. Vote and fav it, or move on, it is the Members decision.
