See, I grew up with stuff like Norse mythology, fairy tale books, Hans Christian Anderson, and Robin Hood (since I seriously live in a place called Sherwood Forest) so I've always had an interest in fantasy. Now, though, since I am older and have a larger vocabulary I can read more fantasy novels like those from Forgotten Realms (mainly the legend of Drizzt) Dragonlance, The Belgariad, the Inheritance Cycle, etc.
I watched Star Wars since I was a child, but I didn't get what's going on in it until I was in high school. And when I understood everything well I've become a fantasy fan until now! Thanks for George Lucus a lot
Not really sure how my imagination got to the way it is...I do know that I was watching the very first season of Yu-Gi-Oh and got interested in Egypt...somehow my very creation was a blue german-shephard(sp?)/husky mixture with the element of fire and then it "evolved" into a werefox (more like fox-demoness) but then finally evolve into a werewolf with the gentle "human" personalities - they're more like wolf-guardians than actually werewolves (and there's lots of different elements created for them).

A lot of it is my never-ending stories in my imagination. Folklore, myths, everything like that. I love it all.
But things like Fantaghiro are part of my childhood too
Never Ending Story.
