Oh, definately Wheel of Time by Robert Jordan. When I was in elementery school I loved the Spiderwick Chronicles. I also really loved The Charmed Sphere by Catherine Asaro.
Chronicles of Narnia. My dad first read them to me when I was 5 and I've been reading them every year since. ..It has, however, lead to several dissapointing wardobe examinations.. Read them if you haven't already! It'll only take a weekend .
I would probably go with the Otori Trilogy, because it was a mixture with Japanese culture and fantasy, although not with dragons and stuff Narnia was also very good. I couldn't understand LOTR, though, got very confused
I can't explain why but i love buffy the vampire slayer..i bought the first 3 years on dvd..and now an again i watch it all again...and cry at the end when angel leaves buffy ...i think i identified with it because I left my country and all the people I loved behind...a long time ago but it,s stills hurt sometime..
